COMMENTS FROM THE RUNNERS:

"I did the single loop course but did not hit the bridge when it was up. it was an amazingly beautiful course to run. foot traffic was not a major issue but I did not care about my time (thank goodness!) as I was not trying to qualify for anything - just wanted to finish! it was warmer then I expected so I over dressed (rookie mistake) but would do the run again in a heart beat! thank you again to all the volunteers - the water stops were great and well placed. I do not regret choosing the single loop at all. congrats to all runners! thank you."

"Definitely did not break any records with this one, but my husband and I both really enjoyed ourselves. By far some of the best volunteers - all of the encouragement really helped keep me going. Likely won't run a 1/2 marathon for a LONG time, but would love to volunteer for next year's race!"

"Congratulations To Bob and everyone who made this possible...By far THE BEST 1/2 MARATHON Course anywhere...I could not believe how wonderful the scenery was...how great the aid station people were to me...especially the group between Spring Lake and Sea Girt...wow did they make me feel special...the casual runners along the board walk everywhere offering encouragement was a special treat...better than what we normally see in other races where the regular groups of bystanders waiting for a glimpse of a family member or friend just stare at you like you are some kind of freak...these people knew what it was like to run a race and their cheers meant so much...but I wnat especially again thank BOB BOTH, ,for so much and taking so much stuff from us about the course and all...GREAT JOB BB!!!!!"
